I Have Not Lost One

I have not lost one… John 17:12

If you are like me, you tend to think God is about restoring all that has been taken from
you in this life, and to prepare you for an eternal heaven experience which goes beyond
my imagination, and yours – if we are honest.

God showed me something in the early morning hours today that is a course correction
for me and you may agree, for you too.

Jesus came for the Father’s sake. It is about restoring all that has been taken from
Father God. And it is in our being restored to Father God, that we get all the benefits of
this life and the promise of heaven is fulfilled in our saying YES.

“While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your name. Those whom You gave
Me I have kept; and none of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the Scripture
might be fulfilled.” John 17:12 NKJV

Consider the parable of the prodigal son: can you see the father’s face when he saw his
son far off coming toward him? Son restored to the father. Would it not be so, with our
heavenly Father?

The truth is: you and I matter. We have place in our heavenly Father’s heart, which does
grieve whenever we are lost from Him. Believer be quick to repent and see our
heavenly Father’s delight. In His Light we are healed and made whole.

Let us believe what Jesus says to believers: “O righteous Father! The world has not
known You, but I have known You; and these have known You sent Me. And I have
declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me
may be in them, and I in them.” John 17:25-26 NKJV
