Times In The Storm

Dear Friends and Family in Jesus Christ,

First, know Barbara and I pray for everyone’s safety and deliverance from harm in the face of the storms we are facing. It is helpful for us to remember Psalm 91 and know the psalmist wrote this to acknowledge God and God’s perfect relationship of Love, Power and Sound mind for him. This psalm when read out loud from our first person standing with God (read with your name spoken as if you are saying this psalm over you and your household) renders our position in the Order of things here on earth for believers. In the chaos of the world, believers are given the fullness of God’s provision and protection, and healing from every fiery dart the enemy may shoot at us. It is for us to believe and give God our praise in thanksgiving for He is our sure foundation and our covering in all circumstances.

Holy Spirit we thank You for Your Love, Power, and Sound mind given to us. We need not fear or to be troubled in troubling times. No, we are given capacity to pray and receive that which You have for us, which in turn gives us capacity to share Your Love, Power, and Sound mind with everyone we meet, in every situation they find themselves in. Come Holy Spirit into every situation such that we can be faithful representatives of the Love and Power and Sound mind of Jesus Christ for every person we meet. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. We pray all people say yes to Jesus and come under His Lordship and Salvation. Now is the time to be counted with Him. Let us not shrink back, but go forth in faith, pressing in to participate fully in all that God promises for His People.
